What does my puppy come with? (The following applies to puppies born to our females, and to our "pick of the litter" pups, not necessarily to those puppies we list for friends.)
1. Super socialization! Our puppies are loved and cared for from the moment they arrive. We are with the mother while they are born, helping and supporting her along the way. They grow up in our living rooms where they are loved, handled, socialized and become used to people and other pets.
2. AKC registration - We register all of our dogs with the American Kennel Club and all of our puppies come with an AKC registration application. AKC is the oldest and most well respected registry in the United States. We feel the AKC represents the best of the breed!
3. A puppy kit - "Our" puppies come with a sample of their food. We generally use Eukanuba Puppy Small Bites. It's important that your puppy eat a good quality food so they are sure to get the right nutrients as they grow. Your puppy kit also includes a variety of toys - hard chewy toys, flexible chewy toys, soft cuddly toys, and squeaky, rubbery toys. Your puppy will play with different toys depending on the kind of mood he's in so it's important that he have a variety of toys to choose from. Your puppy will also come with a small fleece blanket that smells like his mom and littermates to help make his transition easier. We also include a photo album of pictures of your puppy as he grows, pictures of his parents and littermates, as well as other various goodies.
4. Vaccination record - Your puppy will be thoroughly vet checked and receive his required vaccinations around 8 weeks. A record of this will be provided. He will require vaccinations again at 12 weeks and 16 weeks. Your puppy must not be exposed to any un-vaccinated animals until his shot series is complete at 16 weeks of age.
5.Microchipping is available at the request of the buyer. Please inquire if you are interested so that arrangements can be made. ***If your puppy is shipped by plane, you MUST have your puppy microchipped at your expense.***

Price is based on many factors including lineage, color, size (or anticipated adult size which is based on the size of the parents, and adult sizes of previous puppies from our adult dogs), markings, and whether the puppy will be sold with full or limited registration. Puppies are sold with limited AKC registration unless special arrangements are made. Please do not assume you will receive full registration unless we have discussed it.
If you feel you are interested in showing your puppy, or are looking for a puppy that you can breed, you must discuss this with us. It will not be given to all who request. Receiving full registration will require an additional fee of between $150 and $250. Full Registration fees will be determined for each specific dog. Not all dogs are suitable for breeding. Please understand, we have the best interests of our puppies in mind always. Please do not wait until you pick up your puppy to discuss this with us. Your AKC papers will have already been filled out by that time.
Limited Registration means that your dog, while still registered with the American Kennel Club, will not be eligible for conformation showing or for breeding purposes. If your puppy is sold with Limited Registration, we expect that he or she be neutered or spayed by 6 months of age. If you have purchased your pup with limited registration, this is final. Please do not ask us to change it to full registration later. We will mail your AKC papers to you when you present us with proof that your pup has been spayed or neutered.
A deposit of 20% the total price (minimum of $100) is required within 5 days upon selection of your puppy. (We are under no obligation to hold a puppy for you without adeposit unless we have agreed to it in advance.) For example, on a $550 pup, a deposit of $110 is due. For a $1,000 pup, a deposit of $200 will be due. If we do not receive the specified deposit, The puppy will be relisted. Balance must be paid in full by the time the puppy is transferred to you (2 weeks prior to transfer if paying by check). We will accept PayPal payments, as long as the buyer pays the 4% PayPal fee. If you want to pay your deposit using PayPal, let us know and we will send you a request for payment through email. Please make checks for deposit out to Eileen or Kate Palmer.

DISCOUNTS - Certain discounts will be applied under specific circumstances.
1) If you are purchasing 2 puppies from the same litter, we will discount $50 off the price of each puppy.
2) If you are paying deposits for 2 puppies at the same time (possibly from different litters), we will discount $50 off the price of each puppy.
3) If you and a friend or family member are each getting a pup from the same litter, or pups listed on the website AT THE SAME TIME, we will discount $50 from the price of each puppy .
4) If you are a return buyer, we will give you a discount of $50 off the purchase price of your puppy.
***Discounts may not be combined except in the situation of a repeat buyer - no discount will ever be more than $100.
***Pups purchased with full registration are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ANY DISCOUNTS. If you purchase a pup with limited registration, and request full registration at a later date, we will add any discounts you received to the full registration fee.

SHIPPING - We currently offer shipping (direct flights only) within the Continental United States. No International Shipping, unless you fly to New York to pick up your puppy in person. We will also gladly drive to meet you starting in Alfred, New York which is located in the Western part of New York near the Pennsylvania border.

STUD SERVICE - We have stud service available to approved dams with AKC registration only. Hercules, Tigger, and Teddy are all proven studs. As payment for stud fee we reserve the option of first pick of the litter (by Eileen), or a monetary stud fee to be agreed upon prior to the mating (usually amounting to the average price of a puppy from the upcoming litter). By choosing to use our studs, you are agreeing to sell all of your puppies with limited registration. The only exceptions would be the "pick" puppy which we may keep, and any pup that you choose to KEEP for continued use in your breeding program. You agree that if at a later date, you choose to sell any pup you kept, you will sell it with limited registration.
There are times when we don't have many of our own puppies available and will be willing to list outside litters or individual pups sired by our males. Please understand that they will be listed at the prices we have outlined on our website. There will be a $20 fee per puppy listed. Our contract and health guarantee do not pertain to puppies belonging to other breeders, with the exception of our "pick of the litter" pups. We will be happy to provide interested puppy buyers with the email address or phone number of the litter owner, so that they can speak directly with that individual concerning the sale of a puppy posted on our website. Any puppy deposits pertaining to our "pick of the litter" pups may be made directly to us. Deposits pertaining to any other puppies we have listed should be made directly to and mailed to the litter owner. We will provide you with their mailing address. In addition, it will be your responcibility to make arrangements with the litter owner concerning a time and place to pick up your new puppy.
